GENeRAL Information

1. What is the Riverfest?
Riverfest is a three day festival, focused on bringing a variety of great contemporary Christian artists and music to the Sunraysia region, in a community that prides itself on great food, fantastic weather and every opportunity for memorable family fun!

2. Why was Riverfest started?
The Festival was put together to celebrate the great variety of Christian music talent that exists nationally and internationally, bringing together artists with a message of CHRISTIAN HOPE ,providing a wholesome reflection of the Christian message to relate and connect to all ages.

3. Who puts Riverfest together?
The Festival is presented by the Riverfest committee, an all volunteer group of local representatives whose backgrounds range from professional to ministerial and collectively aim to see a festival which demonstrates purpose driven contemporary Gospel music expressed in and throughout the Sunraysia region.

4. How do I contact Riverfest Board members or Riverfest organizing committee members?

5. How does my band apply to play at Riverfest?

6. How do I know who is performing at Riverfest this year?

7. How will we know if when, where and even if specific artists will be signing autographs and selling merchandise?
It is totally up to the discretion of performers and artists if they will be available for public meetings and signings. The performers are under no obligation to participate in these types of activities. Historically most Riverfest artists do meet with the public in the merchandising designated areas after their time on stage. Because we have no idea if artists will or will not participate, there will be no advance announcement. If you are interested in meeting with a specific artist, go to the main merchandise stands after they have completed their time on stage and check with the merchandise volunteers.

8. Are cameras allowed at Riverfest?
Our agreements with the artists and their management restricts cameras on the grounds. Only small, snapshot type cameras are allowed on the grounds. Any commercial cameras or cameras with interchangeable lenses will be confiscated upon entry and returned upon exiting. Any media representatives or commercial photographers must obtain credentials BEFORE the event by contacting the media and marketing coordinator.

9. Will there be seats or chairs or do we need to bring our own blankets and chairs?
There are generally no or limited chairs and or seats provided in the main outdoor concerts staged by Riverfest – We encourage you to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on during the event.
